NOTICE OF 2026 PROPOSED PROPERTY TAX INCREASE

 Salt Lake County Service Area #3

     Salt Lake County Service Area #3 is proposing to increase its property tax revenue.
               The Salt Lake County Service Area #3 tax on a $1,361,800.00 residence would increase from $44.19 to $107.85, which is $63.66 per year.
               The Salt Lake County Service Area #3 tax on a $1,361,800.00 business would increase from $80.35 to $196.10, which is $115.75 per year
               If the proposed budget is approved, Salt Lake County Service Area #3 would receive an additional $45,000.00 in property tax revenue per year as a result of the tax increase.
               If the proposed budget is approved, Salt Lake County Service Area #3 would increase its property tax budgeted revenue by 150% above last year's property tax budgeted revenue excluding eligible new growth.
     The Salt Lake County Service Area #3 invites all concerned citizens to a public hearing for the purpose of hearing comments regarding the proposed tax increase and to explain the reasons for the proposed tax increase. You have the option to attend or participate in the public hearing in person or online.
